        Years ago Drennan made a small blockend feeder (I think it was called the feeder link).They do not appear to be available now, does any one know of any thing similar or can something be doctered to take the minimum amount of maggots.

          I remember them well, we used to take the lids off the small and medium sizes and threaded them on a small link locked off with a couple of swan shot,they interlocked perfectly and held 6/10 maggots.

          Perfect for those big one eyed roach when it’s hard.

            Those are the ones, they were great for fishing down the edge on the Yorkshire rivers, some of the lads, really cleaned up catching good nets of roach, even in the coldest conditions. I want something similar to fish for carp, Drannan carp feeder are the nearest I’ve seen but feel their to big and don’t think haif filling them really works.

                Cheers Ant. I cut down one of the smallest Drennan carp feeders, but could’nt get the cap to fit, gutted as i’ve now wasted a feeder, I’m thinking of taking it back and just saying it broke when casting out.
