As i tried the JPz today i got thinking, if a venue bans pellet, could you use a JPz, as their not really pellets as in a sense of fishmeal based hard product, it’s just the shape that make them look like a pellet?

        any thoughts?

Look like a pellet, use on the hook as a pellet = a pellet!

Bit naughty trying to get round the rules, just stick to ’em rather than bending them 😡

So if pellets were banned you also ban all punched baits, meat, boilie etc?

No problem with punched meat (if meat is allowed), but JPz are a hook pellet! It’s even what Marukyu call them. If pellet is not allowed, then nor are JPz.

Gets my goat that people try and get round the rules, if pellet is banned it’s as clear as day they are too. 😡

To many rules on a lot of commercial fisheries how do you distinguish between a pellet shaped boilie and a pellet if boilies are on the banned list or boilie base mix paste if paste is allowed and boilies banned.
Its a mine field out there no wonder natural venues are seeing an upsurge in popularity less rules to read for a start.

That’s down to the fishery to decide! Personally, I tend to avoid places with grey areas in the rules 😀

I remember fishing Hallcroft years back the rules list took an age to read and there were so many rules it was ridicoulous, not sure if that is still the case there.
I remember one character reading them and loudly retorting can you put 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉 bait on.

maybe you might need to ask yourself the question
                              if pellets are banned
“do i really need to ??”
