We are a club of 24 who always go away for a weekend every year including a week @ Stafford Moor.
We have been to Larford for the last three years and I think it’s time for a change.
What i’m after is details of where other clubs have been and what accomodation has be used.
This is the ideal and that is why Larford has been so convenient.
Less than 100 mile from Derby.
Three lakes to fish Fri, Sat & Sun
Accommodation /s to fit 24 of us in close by Approx £30 per person per night.
        Any ideas?
I’ve looked at tunnel barn farm but struggling for digs as Warwick is the nearest with a few pubs but it’s too much money.
        Any info greatly received
        Cheers
        Neil

You have been spoilet by going Larford~clap our club go every year,we also go away at the begining of September to an alternative venue,ie,woodlands Thirsk,Moorlands,Lindholme, woodlands View, but we always go to back to Larford every year because it is simply the best, not only for the fishing but also the staff at Larford are first class and the nights out are also very good~clap.
You will struggle to get a better club weekend away, end of!

Fished at Solhampton earlier this year and it was stunning. There are several lakes and the owner was fantastic. Just down the road from Larford too

              Their website is at http://www.solhampton-fishery.com/

                      Try Decoy lakes in cambridgeshire.
I think they have got 11 lakes now.

Have a word with the lads from The isle of Wight. We had a weekend over there fishing matches against the local lads a really great bunch of lads. We stayed at Rookley park that is a holiday park with fishing on site.
                        The lads get on here.
