The Best Nets I have ever seen used. are the Sensas challange nets .. Very strong and will last you a long time.

I have also heard good reports about the New Daiwa Keepnets.

Agree 100%. Expensive, but made to last. I have 3 of the Sensas Challenge nets, one of which is 5yrs old, the other 4 and the other 12months, and still have plenty more use in them.

If there is only one thing in fishing I have learnt it has to be that Daiwa keepnets are not worth the premium cost they ask for, think at last count i had 7, all , note ALL, have broken at either a ring or the main attachment. this is so on all from very expensive rubber nets down to more basic silvers nets. The same can be said for their landing net handles, got 2 or 3 new and almost unused where the threads have snapped or in some other way broken away from the main pole.
Great rods, great poles, good reels, not so good keepnets, landing nets and handles , or luggage!

It’s been my pet hate over last few years, keepnets that break.thought I’d solved it with garb g nets the square ones but after 6 months.top of net ie the semi rigid part appears,to be disintegrating as they’re folded up and stored. Just getting a rive net which looks excellent but not used yet.can’t comment on the sensas but rive very good but as all rive expensive and real tackle tart gear

I can vouch for the Daiwa TDJC; the one with the big top. I have found it to be strong and hard wearing, so I like it. Trouble is, the mice also like it, too, so i’ve had to repair it.

Another good one is/was the MAP silver net. Very good price and also V hard wearing with metal rings all the way down. If their carp nets are similar, they’d be worth a look.

What ever they have cheap in the shops when I need a net, I have 4 different nets Avanti, Leeda, keenets and a maver ! You can buy carp keepnets from Avanti for 10 quid why pay more ? a keepnets not going to affect your fishing unless you need one with a decent angle lock to rest your bomb rod on

Bought some Carp nets from a firm called DRagon Carp a few years ago now, they where a big mouthed net and had an super ajustment at the top, cheap as chips and lasted years. 😀 Have Mosella ones now that you cant pull the bottom rings through properly(when weighing in). They where dirt cheap, someone gave them to me,i now see why. Some of the prices charged by the big firms are a rip off,as most nets are probably all scorced from the same couple of manufacturers.

It won’t affect your fishing but it may affect the amount of fish you put on the scales! 😉 I wouldnt fancy using a cheap net on a big weight water. Even with net limits you can still be lifting a lot of weight. I use the sensas titans( maybe mistaken on the name they’re the big grey ones) and have complete confidence they aint gonna let me down after a days baggin. They’re not cheap but a couple of them are over 3yrs old and are still going strong so money well spent me thinks……

mosella make good nets with full metal rings and good angle locks, bit more expensive but worth a bit extra imo

Shanie, give your nets a good old routine check now and then no problems,I must add though my biggest match weight last year was 37lb.

Ive had trouble with the topring breaking on my daiwa nets. I repaired them with some alloy rod as they are too dear to chuck away and so far are okay. Ive also got a net I bought at a show for a tenner and its lasted longer than the £60 daiwa. Ive been to Colemans Cottage a few times and you have to their nets. The owner told me that hes tried them all and Browning nets are the only ones that last longer than 6 months and hes got over 200 of them. You dont see them in shops though. He didnt even sell them at Colemans
