          Daiwa Yank n Bank PRO, more expensive than most but quality always is. I’ve had several fish to over 20lb on mine and it didn’t bat an eyelid.

                Tricast XRS only one rated to 25 elastic and Tricast dont over-rate their poles like other manufacturers but a little dearer than the Daiwa Yank & Blank.
                Second choice would be Shimano Beastmaster followed by the Drennan.
                Wouldn’t touch the Daiwa would rather use a match pole.

                  just seen new daiwa 2012 catalogue and there is a new 11 mtr pole with 2 spare power kits for £199 or the new team daiwa 8mtr for £120

                    beastmaster imo had the drennen sold to brother cant fault beastmaster plus got the ex to take it to 10mtrs.stop a tank imo 😮 😮

                          Shimano beastmaster 850b….it will stop a train!

                          You can pull as hard as you like with them, I wouldn’t swap it for anything else.
