Anyone recommend an out and out carp pole strong enough to tame 10lb+ boddington carps?

origional shimano beastmaster 850 margin pole with 25+ solid vespe elastic, 0.24 powerline mainline with 0.21 powerline hook length. my mate had 501 lb there on this setup feeding 8mm pellets and fishing a banded 11mm. 😀

You cant go wrong with a garbolino power legion m8…me and my mate emptied the place over the course of a summer in 2008. I had 402lb, 397lb,365lbs and loads more massive baggin weights in the dynamite baits opens that they used to hold…Dave parvin had 600+ lbs on a middy shockstikk too.Proper tough tactics for proper tough carp
