check out the new fx range by fox m8 have loads off backbone yet are very forgiving too, there bringing a new fx + out too which is a bit more beefy perfect for long range feeder fishing. An i aint just sayin that coz i fish wit them check them out for yourself half the price of tourney rods which i used to use

I have the12 ft aerocast, and although Ive not used it for the method I would imagine it would cope for what you want it for. Its managed all that Ive asked of it, and I know there is power to spare. In fact I have bought the 11ft as I dont need the power of the 12ft on most of my local venues but I like the 12ft rod, and the oval blank stiff and soft sides works, not dramatically but thats probably a good thing.
There does seem to be a lot of good alternatives out there at the moment though, and you probably wont go wrong if you buy any of the rods mentioned.

80 meters is 100 turns on a Daiwa 4000 reel, quite a long way. Add in a windy day and you’ll struggle with the rods you mention imo.

have a look when they come out u would be surprised. they have the fx and the fx+ the + plus meaning more power.
