WILLINGHURST SUNDAY 28TH..RESULTS.

Before i post the result i would just like to say that i thought Arsenal were very unlucky against Man Utd.If they play as well next season i think that they will deffo win the CHAMPIONSHIP,or at least be in the top 2.And in so doing will be going back into the Premiership where they belong…….The useless t***s.

OLD LAKE…12 FISHED.

1st….Delbert……….Peg 15…….66lb 12oz.
2nd…Tony Yanni….Peg 17…….63lb 0oz.
3rd….Bob Poulton..Peg .24……60lb 02oz.
4th….Tony Kent…..Peg..22……50lb 02oz.

Strange result today,as the fish seemed to be down the narrows,unless of course all the better anglers were down that end.Apart from Bag Up Bob on one of the fliers(peg 24),all the other anglers in the wides struggled.
Delbert and Yakkianni both caught on the method across to the far bank as did i.I had 39lbs odd(from the flyer peg 19),but unfortunately did not have a fish in the last 2 hours,and got a stiif neck watching the 2 muppets to my right netting fish.To be fair Delbert and Tony had a good contest with Delbert catching late to just pip his mate at the whistle.
The craic was brilliant around the lake,untill that MUG Ian Summers gave me a running commentary on the Arsenal match……The man is a total knob and could have easily ended up in the lake trying to find the fish in his peg after i threw him in….lol.

JOHNS LAKE was won by Grumpy and Deaf Steve Collins who just got the better of “Billy no Mates” Jason Morgan.Steve had 66lb of Carp and Silvers..with Jason weighing in about 64lb.
Mind you although Grumpy picked up coin,he still didnt buy a bloody drink down the boozer after the 2 matches.But as per usual all the lads had a right laugh in the bar discussing the days events….I dont know how we ended up at STAFFORD MOOR,but Terry Malloy made me repeat the story about the match we had there one year when my “KELVIN KLINES” ended up in a tree above my peg after a nasty accident…..”OH NOOOOOOOOOOO”. :p :p :p 🙁 🙁 🙁

🙁 🙁 🙁 No Brian that was a year later as well you know.Terry the Cod won £700 of moi cause all you other useless anglers couldnt compete with a man of his calibre.I was only thinking the other day……Do you think he has packed up match fishing?…..If so,do you think he would sell all his gear?

He’s on a break from match fishing at the moment and spending a fair bit of time on a boat in the middle of the sea with a rod and line.

Popped into Willinghurst on Sunday and thought there was a “Special” match on Old Lake !

Pikey It was a very a very “special” match.. You had Ian the radio, John I cant draw Radford, Mick “everyone look at my casting Hemmings” Tony Yak “If the far side platforms were not there I would be casting in the top lake” Followed by epicenter Mick wicket Keeper..

The craic was brillant as Mick said.. And If I was not laughing as much !! I would of had 100ib lol 🙂 🙂

Still dont know how we had a re-draw with only 12 pegs in !! With Mick running a match anything is possible lol.. Mick dont run the lower thames match !! can you imagine a re-draw at that event lol… I started off on peg 20 but lucky for me peg 15 wasn’t that bad either…

One last thing Mr Bookie !! How many breakfasts have you EIGHT lately !!! Massive LOL 😀 😀
