Hi Wonkerscramp, 12 of us fished Pittance Sunday, 1st place was 23-24ib odd 5 carp on pole from peg 11 our very own toplights !! Well done Malcolm.. 2nd Jeff Simmons peg 13 21-22ib odd 6 carp open end feeder casting to island.. peg 18 20ib odd 4 carp. 19ib peg 7, 3 carp.. As you can see, there was not a lot in it ! I had 3 carp I didn’t weigh, but probably had about 14-15ib Terry harrison had 3 carp for 13ib. Everyone had at least 1 or two carp… Now all lakes frozen solid !! So can’t see too much happening there this weekend..

Toplights, Not frozen yesterday I heard !! 7 fished Pittance and big Brian Walton won from peg 5 five carp on the tip for 50ib. No one fished the pole because the cold wind hampered that. I’m affraid that’s all the info I have……. Malcolm those butterflies are a long way off !! I might join them 😀 😀 😀

Toplights A few braved the elements on Saturday !! They fished New lake and the ice breaking gear was out in force.. Dont know the pegs but big Martin won with 8.10.0 he hooked and landed a 6ib carp with 30 seconds left.. Which in turn pushed Don in to 2nd with 7.6.0 who had drawn the golden peg 3rd place went to John Radford who weighed 6.10.0..

Some really struggled with the likes of Jason who never had a bite.. Sunday everybody stayed home and had roast beef.. 😀 😀 😀

I spoke to John last night Dishyfish and canceled,he told me he would cancel the match as others had phoned in and done the same.I bet the Don still went on his own and took 30 odd quid off himself. See you next week? 😀

Toplights ! Are you braving the elements tomorrow ? I think there were 7or 8 hardy souls out today. They fished New lake and after breaking 3″ of ice ! Terry Harrison won with 4ib odd 2ib got 2nd and Don winkled out 5 little stripeys for 3rd. Big Martin after winning last week and also winning the 3 pegger Wednesday 😀 😀 with a good winter weight of 30ib lost a carp which would of given him a hattrick….

My brownie points are totaling up ! So when the weather improves i’ll be out.. See you soon 😀

Toplights ! Just keeping you in the loop.. New lake was fished today and after more ice breaking the fish were hard to come by for most. 11ib won though Terry Harrison again jas got 2nd and swifty nicked 3rd. P.s got the venue wrong for Saturday match !! They used John’s lake apologies for that 😀 😀
