winter pole floats

  What is the best make and pattern of pole float for deep water (6-8 feet) in the colder months. I will b fishing for anything that swims, and using a variety of baits from pellet to squat. THANKS

  Try these, a excellent all-round float for winter fishing, 1.2mm tips for small baits, 1.5mm for bigger. Go for glass stems.

  I have ordered some of the Nick Gilbert Caner Gimps tonight. Ill let you know how i get on with them.
  
  Ive also ordered some of the XT Gimps for general carp work to replace my Carpa Chimps. At £1.50 a float they are cheaper than the Chimps, and much much better quality.
  
  Nick has been fantastic in sorting me out with what i needed, to the point he has even tailored some of the floats to my exact requirements.
