        Hi guys
Planning to get more efficient next year and I’m going to tie up a load of hooks over the winter. Can anyone recommend a good hooklength box of around 250mm (10″).

        Cheers

I’ve had my Buffy hooklength box for about 9 months now and overall happy.

One word of warning though, I left it out in the sun during a match this summer and when I opened it, Horror!! all of the wooden boards with the pins attached had come unstuck!
Ended up with a birds nest of over a hundred hooklengths, which the lads thought was quite funny !!

I re-glued it myself and not had any probs since.

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else??

Same for me,hundreds of hooks in atotal mess!

Re-glued & no probs since, not that i’ve been out much.

Have started re-using the Preston Plastic boxes though, shame they don’t do a larger version.

I have some choppy hook boxes – wooden with pins, bought them from Matchman Supplies. Not personally had a problem with the glue but I know others who have. I also use the blue plastic Preston ones but I am interested in the new MAP ones so I will wait for those to come out.
