Greys have been turning heads in the carp world with the introduction of a breakthrough carbon fibre technology used in its new AirCurve rod range.

Three years in the making, the Aircurve utilizes a material called Toreon, which combines carbon fibre with a resin containing a series of Nano particles that has allowed them to move the power further up the rod blank to maximize casting distance, while retaining the fish playing action and lightness. The action is described as ‘powerful and progressive’ and it’s said to cast over 200 yards. Available in 12ft and 13ft models in test curves up to 3.5lb, Greys say it’s ‘as close as we can get to the holy grail of carp fishing rods’. There’s as full length video about the Air Curve range, including ‘destruction test’ footage, on the Official Greys Fishing Channel on You Tube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_profilepage&v=662QDpxy7oU
