Good roach weights were the order of the day on the Fossdyke, with the whole of the match length fishing well despite heavy boat traffic. Coming out on a top with an all roach net of 16-4-0 was Maver Bait Tech rod Barry Wiggington. Drawn on the fancied Marina mouth, Barry fished bread punch on two lines at six metres, taking around 150 fish for his weight.
England International Sean Ashby took second spot, after plundering two bloodworm lines at six metres. Sean caught 347 fish for his 12-11-0 weight,  presenting a single bloodworm hookbait over a bed of leam and joker.
Third placed Alistair Ogilvie caught some of the Fossdykes legendary perch to help on his way to third spot. Two good sized stripeys on lobworm, along with a chunky eel and a few early roach on bloodworm saw him finish with a 10-13-0 total.
The next round takes place next Saturday 26th November. To book on, anglers should call Alan Henry on 07712620385.
