Birmingham based match team Kamasan Starlets has added to its ranks by signing Rob Wootton onto its books.

Rob has been on a great run of results this year and won the Shakespeare Championship at Evesham in August. He has concentrated on individual events in the main in the past but expressed the desire to broaden his horizons into team fishing. Starlets and England manager Mark Downes said: “It really is great news to have Rob on board. His recent pedigree speaks for itself. He will be a huge asset to our team, especially given the forthcoming National on the tidal River Trent.”

Rob has made several match fishing programmes for Fishing TV and currently has a series of match fishing tips being broadcast over the next few issues of their free-to-view video magazine Coarse And Match Fishing which is free to view here on Total-Fishing.com . In the current issue he reviews some brand new pole floats from Gaz Malman and reveals his favoured reel line.
