The Coventry Canal hosted the second round of the Angling Trust Winter League on Sunday with the top three all weighing double figures.

Top of the pile was Shakespeare’s Darren Lewis, who included roach to a pound in his 16-6-3 net taken on pole, caster and bloodworm from the Matlock Road Bay. Browning Central’s Alex Powell was second with 11-10-0, with another Browning stalwart, Ian Crossman, putting 11-4-4 on the scales in the 50-pegger.
