Report:
Once again Lake 2 at Dynamite Baits Makins Fishery proved completely unpredictable.  In the Wednesday Kobra Affordable Open the weights generally came from un-fancied pegs spread around the lake.

Continuing his brilliant form on the venue was J&K Tackle backed Mick Timson.  Drawn on A13, Mick was into carp from the beginning, and excepting a slow 2 hours midway through the match, caught steadily on the method feeder.  By fishing close to the island, he ended with 131 lb 14 oz. Photograph shows Mick with a third of his catch.

On the opposite side of the lake on B13, runner up, Matchman Supplies’ James Hawkins fished pellet waggler throughout the match.  He landed his first fish after 3 hours and then caught steadily to the end for 129 lb 4 oz, missing top spot by 1 fish.

Third placed Duncan Warrall caught his fish on peg A9 mainly during the first and last hours of the match, all on corn on the method feeder fished towards the island.
