REPORT
MOLANDS   Molands has been in the best form of the year so far with lots of 100lb+ weights in matches and massive bags being caught by pleasure anglers.  The F1’s are feeding really well and close in tactics such as paste or pellet fished down the first shelf or meat, worms or pellet tight up to the near margins are producing the better catches.  The carp are also feeding well particularly later in the day and fish to 18lb have been weighed in during matches.  Top pegs are 2 – 10, 15 – 19, 25 – 29, 41 – 48 and 52 – 60.

GEARYS   Still fishing well with carp and skimmers producing the better nets.  Pinging 8mm pellets and fishing either the bomb or pellet waggler over the top is the most effective tactic but paste on the pole is also accounting for some good nets.  Carp to nearly 20lb and bream to 4lb have figured this week.  Best pegs 1, 6, 9 – 15, 17, 19, 21 and 23 – 27.

LITTLE GEARYS   Very consistent with most pegs capable of producing good catches and a variety of tactics are doing well at the moment.  Shallow waggler/candle has been working really well or a small method/pellet feeder fished tight up to the island.  F1’s to 4lb and carp to 10lb have featured in catches this week. Hot pegs are 7, 9, 13, 21, 26 and 28.

GRATUITIES   Like all of the pools, Gratuities has been in decent form this week.  Pleasure anglers have enjoyed good sport in the evenings fishing corn or meat down the edge for carp and tench.  In the matches, pellet feeder fished to the island or pole and pellet have worked well.  Best pegs are 1, 6, 8, 11 – 13 and 16.

ANNIVERSARIES    Anglers fishing Anniversaries this week have enjoyed good sport with mixed nets of skimmers, F1’s, small carp, tench and barbel.  Caster or soft pellet fished over micros has been the best approach fishing tight to the islands.

WILLOW   Feeder to the island is working well for carp and F1’s.  Plenty of silver fish being caught on banded hard pellet or expander fished on the pole at 6 – 10 metres.  In the evenings, meat over micros fished down the margins is accounting for some good sized carp.

SIBLINGS   The bigger carp are coming to surface baits with bread or dog biscuit catching well.  Good nets of skimmers and crucians are coming to the pellet with the far end of the pool fishing better at the moment.
