MOLANDS Molands fished very well at times last week with the late afternoon sessions proving the best time to fish. Carp to nearly 20lb, F1s to 8lb, bream to 5lb and tench to 5lb featured in catches. The best approach for the carp has been boilies/pellet fished tight across to the island. The F1s have been coming best to the long pole with banded 6mm pellet or down the margins on maggot over ground bait. The most consistent areas have been pegs 1 – 4, 13 – 17, 23 – 29, 41 – 48 and 54 – 60.

GEARYS The more settled weather has seen sport improve with the high bank area producing good nets of carp and silvers to match style anglers fishing long pole with pellet or maggot over ground bait. Carp anglers have enjoyed good success fishing boilies or big pellet over a PVA bag out to the middle stumps.

LITTLE GEARYS Lots of different tactics are seeing anglers having really good sport. Feeder to the island with pellet or maggot, waggler with 6mm pellet, long pole with banded hard pellet and shallow pole with paste or pellet have all produced good catches this week. The far side from pegs 6 – 13 or the carp park side from 23 – 29 have been the better pegs.

GRATUITIES Nice silver fish fishing with lots of skimmers and roach being caught on maggot or caster. A pellet feeder or waggler with corn or pellet fished to the island is accounting for the better nets of carp with fish to double figures.

ANNIVERSARIES Good reports this week with the bigger F1s in the 2 – 3lb range and some even bigger than that showing. Maggot feeder, waggler with pellet and pole fished maggot or pellet have all worked well. The top pegs have been 1 – 6, 12 – 14 and 17 – 23.

WILLOW Paste fished down the margins has worked well this week producing carp to double figures and lots of F1s. Waggler with pellet fished to the island is also working well. Best pegs are 1- 3, 5 and 8 – 10.

SIBLINGS A It can be patchy at the moment and the afternoons are definitely the best time on Siblings ‘A’ but if you are on the fish, it can be excellent fishing with carp, big F1s and ‘stockies’ producing nets to 100lb. Pole fished pellet, corn, paste and maggot have all been working well and pegs 1 – 5, 9 and 17 – 21 have been the most consistent.

SIBLINGS B Paste, pellet and maggot have caught lots of F1s this week with nets to 80lb reported. The far end from 7 – 11 has been best but all pegs have fished well at times.
