The pools all cleared of ice early in the week and the weekend saw some decent sport on offer for January. Molands was fishing ok for silver fish and a few big f1s with pole fished maggot or expander working best. On big Gearys there was a few carp coming to bomb with bread or boilies fished on a small PVA bag filled with micro pellets. Both the Siblings pools were fishing well with the new stock fish going well on pole and maggot and the older ones coming to dobbing bread along the far bank. Ittle gearys was fishing best along the straight banks from 7-13 and 25 -30 with maggot feeder or pole and maggot catching f1s to 5lb. Gratuities Pool fished really well for silvers including some quality roach to around the pound mark and pole fished pinkies was the best tactic ,bomb with small pieces of punched bread accounted for a few carp on there too.
