REPORT
MOLANDS   At the start of the week Molands was fishing really well but the very hot conditions made sport a little more difficult as the week went on.  Pleasure anglers fishing the evening sessions enjoyed the best of the action with F1’s and carp being caught shallow on either the pole at 10 – 13 metres or a pellet waggler fished across to the island.  Best pegs 2, 10, 12, 15, 27 – 31, 41 – 46 and 58 – 60.
GEARYS    This is another pool where sport has been affected by the hot conditions.  Lots carp spawning at the start of the week then spending the rest of the week cruising around ignoring most baits.  Match weights to 70lb caught with straight lead and pellet or method feeder the best tactics.  Pleasure anglers fishing on the surface with dog biscuit or bread have enjoyed some good sport with carp to 17lb coming to this.  Top pegs are 6, 11 – 13, 19, 21, 23, 27, 29 – 31 and 36.
LITTLE GEARYS    Probably the most consistent of the match lakes with lots of 30 – 40lb weights topped with catches to 96lb.  The better catches have all come in shallow with pole and pellet working best but the pellet waggler is also starting to score well.  Pleasure anglers are catching well later on in the day on paste or corn fished down the margin.  Best pegs are 5, 7 – 16, 19, 21, 24, 27 and 29.

GRATUITIES    Plenty of carp and tench showing to meat fished down the margins or a small feeder to the island with meat, corn or pellet on the hook.  The bigger carp are coming to dog biscuit fished on the top with plenty of fish into double figures falling to this tactic.  Best pegs 1, 3, 6 – 9, 11 and 15.
WILLOW    Shallow or surface fishing tactics have worked really well on Willow with pellet waggler and pellet catching plenty of carp up to double figures and F1’s, bread or dog biscuit has also been going well and fish over 15lb have come to this.  Best pegs 1, 3, 5 and 8 – 10.
SIBLINGS   Siblings has been in cracking form this week with good mixed nets of skimmers, tench, carp and crucians coming to pole fished pellet, corn or meat fished on the deck over ground bait or micros.  The biggest catches have come to bread or dog biscuit on the top with fish to nearly 20lb coming in catches estimated at over 100lb.  Best pegs are at the reed bed end of the pool with 1 – 4 and 17 – 20 fishing well.
ANNIVERSARIES   Fishing well for mixed nets with tench, skimmers and crucians going well on pellet or caster fished up to the islands or any features.  A few better carp coming to floating baits with the biggest reported just going 19lb.  Best pegs are 1 – 6, 15, 17- 21 and 23.
