REPORT
MOLANDS   The week started well with lots of fish being caught on the pellet waggler, candle or pole fished shallow but as the week went on with frost on most days, the fishing got a little harder and become patchy.  F1’s are providing the bulk of catches with fish in the 1 – 3lb range and carp to double figures, tench to 6lb and bream to over 4lb the bonus fish.  Best pegs are 2 – 6, 12, 13, 27 – 29, 40, 43 – 48 and 54 – 58.

GEARYS    Definitely on the up with carp showing all around the pool with match catches to over 80lb and pleasure anglers reporting nets to 100lb+, particularly those who are fishing into the evenings.  Some cracking carp showing with fish to 18lb being caught and plenty in the 6 – 10lb range.  Straight lead and pellet, candle or method feeder are accounting for the better catches.  Lots of decent skimmers, brown goldfish and tench are coming to the pole as well with pellet, corn and paste all working for mixed nets.  Top pegs are 1, 9, 11, 19 – 23, 27 – 29 and 31 – 36.

LITTLE GEARYS   Fishing really well with the best catches coming out at 2 – 4 metres close in down the edge.  F1’s and carp are responding to paste, pellet or corn in catches to over 100lb.  Shallow pole and pellet is working well particularly down the far end on pegs 13 – 21.

GRATUITIES   Only pleasure fished this week and most anglers have enjoyed good sport with pole and corn or pellet producing mixed nets of carp, tench, crucians and skimmers.  The bigger carp are coming to surface baits with bread or dog biscuit accounting for fish to 13lb.  Top pegs 1 – 4, 8, 9 and 15.

ANNIVERSARIES   Lots of silver fish showing with pellet, paste or caster giving mixed nets to 50lb.  The barbel have now started to feed ands fish to 1lb have been caught on caster or small pieces of meat.  Pegs 1 – 6, 9, 11 and 17 – 33 have been best.

SIBLINGS   Some good catches of carp reported this week with one angler catching six fish between 15lb and 18lb in session with these all coming to dog biscuit fished on the top.  Plenty of tench, crucians and skimmers coming to pellet or corn fished close in down the margins.

WILLOW    Carp to over double figures being caught on the top with dog biscuit or fishing close in down the margins with meat or corn.  The pellet feeder fished to the island is also working for F1’s, carp, tench and big skimmers.  Top pegs 1 – 6 and 10 – 13.
