FISHERY REPORTS

MOLANDS The near side on pegs 1-27 has been the better bank over the past few days and despite the coldest weather so far this winter, the fishing has been good. Pole fished maggot or pellet ,maggot feeder fished down the middle ,waggler with banded pellet tight to the island and pellet feeder have all given good sport..

GEARYS The carp are shoaling in front of pegs 18,19 and 30-32 and fishing bomb and bread on these pegs has seen fish to 15lb caught. Decent nets of silvers to be had particulary along the high bank where skimmers and some nice stamp roach were coming to pole or cage feeder with maggot or caster.

LITTLE GEARYS Much better this week with nets to over 100lb caught. Long pole with maggots has been the top tactic but waggler with 6mm pellet or maggot feeder to the island has also been doing well . Most consistent pegs have been 7 – 13 and 23 – 30.

GRATUITIES The water has gone clear and it is making it a little difficult on Grats at the moment. Bomb and bread or wafter with bread is accounting for a few carp up to double figures. Maggot or caster on the pole will give plenty of bites fished long down the middle of the pool.

ANNIVERSARIES The open water on pegs 6, 15 – 19 and 21 – 23 has been the most consistent. A small maggot or pellet feeder with dead reds or expander is working best for F1s to 4lb and the odd carp.

SIBLINGS A The new fish helped improve sport last weekend with f1 nets to 50lb caught. Pegs 7-17 has been the best area with pole fished expander pellet, maggot or dobbing punched bread working best

SIBLINGS B A little more consistent than the other pools with plenty of F1s being caught on pole with pellet or maggot. Dobbing bread or corn across to the far bank is sorting out a few of the better sized carp.
