REPORT

MOLANDS   Molands has been in good form this week with match weights to 90lb and plenty of good back-up weights.  There have been lots of different tactics working with straight lead and pellet or waggler and pellet catching the better sized carp with fish to 15lb coming out.  The F1’s are responding to paste fished short or shallow pole and pellet.  The pellet or chopped worm and caster are best for mixed nets of F1’s skimmers, tench and crucians.  Best pegs 2 – 4, 8, 9, 12, 19, 29 – 31, 42 -46, 48 and 54 – 60.

GEARYS    Pleasure anglers have enjoyed the best of the fishing on Gearys this week with anglers reporting catches of 30+ carp up to double figures with straight lead and boilies or big pellets working best.  Match catches have been 70lb+ with pole and fished meat or straight lead and pellet the best tactics at the moment.  Best pegs have been
9 – 12, 18, 21, 23 and 29 – 32.

LITTLE GEARYS    In great form this week with match weights to over 80lb and over 60lb needed to frame in all of the matches this week.  Carp to 10lb, F1’s to 5lb and skimmers featuring in catches this week.  The best tactics have been shallow pole and pellet at 8 – 12 metres or a small pellet feeder fished tight to the island.  Fishing well all around the pool but the hot pegs have been 7, 9 – 12, 17, 21 and 23.

GRATUITIES    Gratuities is another pool which is starting to show some great form with good nets of carp and tench coming out.  Chopped worm and caster, meat or pellet fished on the pole from 5 – 11 metres has been the best approach.  Best pegs 1, 4, 8 – 11 and 15.

WILLOW    Fishing really well with plenty of carp, tench, F1’s, crucians and skimmers showing all around the pool.  Float fished corn or pellet are catching mixed nets with a feeder to the island sorting out the bigger carp and tench.  Best pegs 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and 11.

SIBLINGS   Really picking up with some good catches of carp being caught off the top with dog biscuit and fish to 18lb and plenty of doubles coming out.  The tench have been feeding well with fish to 6lb coming to meat, corn or pellet fished close in.  The shallower top end of the pool amongst the reed beds has been the best area.

ANNIVERSARIES   Providing plenty of action with small carp, tench, crucians and skimmers making up catches to 5lb on pellet, caster or meat.  The early pegs from 1 – 6 have been in the best form.
