REPORT

MOLANDS Still in decent form with nets to around the 100lb mark best but decent back up weights from all around the pool. Big F1s to 6lb along with carp to double figures and a few tench and bream making up the catches. The F1s are coming well to long pole with maggot either shallow or on the deck and maggot feeder. The carp are being caught across to the island with waggler and pellet or bomb and bread.

GEARYS Fished ok this week with nets of carp to 90lb+ including fish up to 15lb. Bomb with pellet or bread, pole fished pellet and method feeder have all accounted for carp in matches. Pleasure anglers have found big boilies working best. Decent skimmer bags are also being caught with the high bank area providing nets to 30lb on pole fished maggot/pellet.

LITTLE GEARYS Another pool that has been in good form this week with nets of F1s to 100lb+. The main tactic has been to fish with maggot, either on the pole at 10 – 14.5 metres, down the margins over ground bait or on a maggot feeder across to the island. There has been consistent sport from all areas but 7 – 15 have been the hot pegs.

GRATUITIES It has been quiet on Grats but those that have fished it have had good sport with mixed bags coming to caster/soft pellet or maggot. Carp, tench, crucians and skimmers are making up the nets.

ANNIVERSARIES Plenty of F1s are being caught along with some decent carp to double figures. The bigger carp are being caught on bread fished tight to the far bank or bomb or waggler. The F1s are coming to caster, maggot or pellet fished shallow.

SIBLINGS A Fished well albeit a bit patchy with nets to 125lb caught this week. Dobbing bread or corn across to the island has worked well particularly for the bigger sized carp. F1s, ide, carp and skimmers are coming to maggot or soft pellet fished down the middle of the pool.

SIBLINGS B Good fishing with lots of bites from F1s with the odd bonus carp. Maggot fished shallow has been the best approach but pellet or punched bread also accounting for plenty of fish.

WILLOW A little tougher than of late with pegs 5 – 9 providing the best sport fishing across to the island with a waggler or small pellet feeder. F1s and carp to 4lb have provided the main action.
