REPORT
MOLANDS The fishing has been better over the last week with the F1s starting to feed in numbers and nets to around 100lb have been caught. Long pole with pellet or caster shallow on the deck has accounted for the better bags. Carp to 18lb have also been caught with meat, worm or corn down the margins and bomb with boilies or pellet across to the island the best tactics. Top pegs have been 2, 8 – 12, 19 – 21, 27 -33, 41 – 46 and 52 – 60.

GEARYS The very changeable weather over the past week has seen sport on Gearys go up and down. Carp to nearly 20lb and lots of skimmers, crucians, tench and F1s coming out. The carp still responding best to bomb and pellet, but method feeder is also starting to catch well. Mixed nets being caught on corn, meat or caster fished over ground bait either at 5 – 10 metres or really close in down the margins. Best pegs have been 7, 10 – 15, 18 – 21, 27, 29 – 33 and 36.

LITTLE GEARYS The shallow fishing has been great this week with long pole with pellet/caster or small pellet waggler accounting for some big nets of F1s and carp.

GRATUITIES The end pegs 1, 8, 9, 15 and 16 have all been good this week where you can fish along the bank tight in for carp mainly but tench, crucians, skimmers and the odd barbel also being caught. Some decent carp are being caught off the top with bread or dog biscuit too.

SIBLINGS A It has been a bit of a mixed week with some decent sport on some days and on others more difficult. Pole with paste, worm, caster or banded hard pellet have all caught plenty of fish. Start out long to the island then move closer in as the session goes on. Pegs 1 – 7 and
19 – 22 have been the most consistent areas.

SIBLINGS B Lots of F1s showing on all pegs with nets in matches to over 60lb. Ide, skimmers, tench and carp also being caught with paste or pellet fished down the middle the top tactic at the moment.

ANNIVERSARIES The pool continues to improve with lots of F1s being caught along with the odd bigger stamp of tench, bream and carp. Pole fished pellet, caster or paste has been the top tactic with pegs 2, 5, 6, 8, 15 , 17 and 23 the pick of the pegs.

WILLOW Always consistent, Willow has been good this week carp to double figures, F1s and crucians showing all around the pool. Long pole shallow with pellet or caster and pellet feeder to the island have been working really well.
