REPORT

MOLANDS Desite the very changeable weather with some sharp frosts then heavy rain, molands has been okay with nets to around 90lb best and carp to 21lb and f1s to 6lb being caught.Bomb with bread and waggler with pellet has been best for the carp and the f1s have responded best to a maggot approach either on the pole long or the maggot feeder fished across to the far shelf. . Best pegs have been 2 – 6, 19 – 29,43 – 46 and 52 – 56.

GEARYS Fished a little harder this week with the cold weather affecting sport but there were still carp being caught in nets to over 60lb with bomb and pellet, method feeder or long pole with banded hard pellet all working.Best pegs have been 9 – 13, 18, 19, 30 – 33 and 36.

LITTLE GEARYS Still fishing well with all areas producing good nets for the time of year. As with all of the F1 pools, maggot has been the top bait fished on the pole, short at five metres or at around 13 metres, Maggot feeder is also catching plenty of fish. There were a few sizeable carp caught this week with punched bread on the bomb or waggler catching fish to 14lb .

ANNIVERSARIES Gone a little more patchy this week with the open water in front of pegs 6 and 16-23 the most consistent area producing nets of f1s to 40ln on pole with maggot or expander and the maggot feeder.

SIBLINGS A The fish are shoaling now with the water going a lot clearer but decent nets have been made this week with punched bread and corn dobbed along the far bank or pole fished maggot and pellet down the middle. Best pegs have been 2, 5 and 13 – 17.

SIBLINGS B A lot slower than last week with nets to around 40lb best mae up of mainly f1s but with the odd carp and tench as well. Maggot has been the top bait fished on the pole across to the far bank or short at around 5 metres desite the very clear water. The end of the point on pegs 5-11 has been the best area.

WILLOW It has been a little hard on Willow this week with the F1s and carp shutting up shop. Nets to around 30lb were best with pole fished pellet over micros the best approach and fishing down the margins with maggot also accounting for a few fish. Pegs 1 – 3 and 9 – 11 have been the better pegs.
