FISHERY REPORT

MOLANDS Tough on Molands this week with the F1s still reluctant to feed well due to the high pressure. Carp to 16lb have been caught with waggler and pellet, bomb and pellet or bread fished tight up to the island. Although the numbers of fish have been low there have been fish to 8lb caught and long pole with maggot or down the first shelf with pellet or maggot are working best.

GEARYS Like all the pools it has been a little tough on Gearys this week but nets of carp to around 50lb and silver nets to 30lb have been caught. The carp are coming to boilies or big pellets on the bomb and silvers to caster or maggot fished over ground bait or micros on the pole. The high bank area from pegs 7 – 15 has been the most consistent area.

LITTLE GEARYS Very up and down at the moment with nets to around 50lb best this week mainly made up of F1s with the odd carp included. Maggot feeder or pellet feeder fished across to the island and long pole with pellet or maggot has been the best approach. Pegs 7 – 15 has been the most inform area.

WILLOW Pleasure anglers reporting nets to around 50lb with mainly carp being caught down the edges with pegs 1, 7 and 10 the most consistent. F1s to 4lb and skimmers also being caught fishing long pole and pellet or maggot.

ANNIVERSARIES Pole fishing banded hard pellet has been the top tactic with carp to 10lb and F1s to 4lb coming to this tactic. Maggot and caster have been catching plenty of fish as well. The top end from pegs 1 – 6 and 19 – 27 has been the best area.

GRATUITIES Mixed nets to around 30lb have been best with carp to 6lb, skimmers, roach and crucians coming to maggot, caster or expander fished down the track. A small waggler to the island with punched bread or corn has also been catching a few carp.

SIBLINGS A Very difficult this week with the water going clear, it has been ‘dobbing’ baits along the far side that has counted for most of the fish. Carp to double figures have been caught on this with nets to around 30lb.

SIBLINGS B Probably the most consistent pool through the week with F1s and small carp being caught from most pegs. Nets to around 40lb have come to long pole with maggot or pellet.
