FISHERY REPORT

MOLANDS There has been some cracking carp caught this week with the biggest weighing in at 24-15 and there were at least 3 other different 20s caught as well. Carp anglers using boilies have been catching well and the warmer weather saw some fish taken off the top as well. In the matches nets to 128lb were caught with pole and banded hard pellet fished long or down the margins working best. Top pegs have been 1-10 ,19-29 and 54-60.

GEARYS Carp to just short of 20lbs have been a feature in catches this with the bigger fish coming down the margins later in the day and falling to corn, big pellet or worm. In matches 100lb nets are being caught with method feeder with wafters fished to the middle stumps and bomb and pellet working well at around 30 metres. Nice nets of silvers being caught all around the pool on pole fished worm, caster and maggot fished over micros or groundbait

LITTLE GEARYS The high pressure has seen the f1s coming shallow and nets to 100lb have been caught on conventional shallow tactics and jigga floats. The bigger carp are coming to waggler with 6/8 mm pellet or down the margins on corn or meat. Best pegs have been from 12 round to 23.

ANNIVERSARIES Starting to fish a little more consistent around the pool with nets to around 1000lb best but good back up catches as well. Plenty of bites to be had with f1s and carp to 5lb on pole with maggot or pellet shallow and in the more open pegs bomb or waggler with 6mm pellet has also been doing well.

GRATUITIES The carp have been showing better this week with nets to 50lb coming to bomb with wafter,6mm banded pellet or bread dobbed down the edges. Nice nets of silvers and small f1s coming to maggot or expander pellet fished on the pole down the middle of the pool.

WILLOW Very popular this week with good fishing on offer at the moment. Feeder to the island seems to be the top tactic but anglers have also caught wellon waggle with pellet or pole fshed pellet or meat.

SIBLINGS A Fished better this week with match weights to over 60lb. Corn or bread down the margins ,maggot or pellet down the middle and bread dobbed across to the island have been the best tactics .

SIBLINGS B Nets to around 90lb were caught this week with the milder weather seeing the f1s starting to feed well with fish 4lbs. Pole fishing has been best either right across to the far bank or shortand down margins with maggot ,caster and meat all working well.
