REPORT

MOLANDS Match weights to over 130lb caught this week and carp to 20lb have featured in catches but the fishing on Molands has been patchy. Pole fished meat or caster accounting for the better bags of F1s in matches with method/pellet feeder to the island also worth a try. The bigger carp are coming to boilies fished tight across to the far bank or off the top on dog biscuit or bread.

GEARYS Gearys has been cracking form this week with nets to over 180lb caught in matches and some very big carp up to 20lb caught by pleasure anglers. In the matches, pole with pellet, corn and paste have been working well along with bomb and pellet or a method feeder to the middle stumps. The carp anglers have caught plenty of fish off the top or fished out to the middle of the lake.

LITTLE GEARYS Like all of the F1 dominated parts fishing has been a little patchy with big nets on some areas and anglers struggling on others. Match weights to over 140lb have been caught and pole with caster fishing shallow has been the top tactic and fishing to the island or meat down the margins are also worth a go.

GRATUITIES There were some good-sized fish caught this week with carp to 18lb. The fishing has been a little up and down with spawning activity towards the end of the week making it a little more difficult. Pole fished pellet has been the best tactic.

WILLOW Fished well through the week but spawning started again and knocked back the sport. Carp and F1s to 4lb are providing the main action with pole and paste, corn or meat fishing down the margins working best.

ANNIVERSARIES In good form with lots of F1s and carp coming to paste or pellet fished tight up to the island or any feature in your swim. A few bigger carp are coming to a small method feeder fished tight to the far bank with fish to 17lb reported this week.

SIBLINGS A It has been a little tough on Siblings ‘A’ with the carp looking as though they might be spawning again very soon. F1s to 3lb making up the better catches with pole fished pellet, caster or maggot working best.

SIBLINGS B Siblings ‘B’ has been very good this week with lots of 70lb+ catches coming from all pegs. F1s to 4lb and carp making up the catches with pole fished paste, pellet or caster fished shallow or on the deck down the middle of the pool the successful tactics.
