REPORT

MOLANDS The fishing has been good at times on Molands with nets to around 70lb best this week. Big F1s up to 8lb and carp to double figures have featured in catches. Pole fished maggot or banded hard pellet fished at 10 – 14.5 meters or down the near margin has worked well with waggler/pellet or pellet feeder also working well. Best pegs have been 2 – 15, 31, 37, 43 – 48 and 56 -60.

GEARYS Carp to 18lb have been caught this week with the bigger fish being caught down the margins with corn or maggot working best. Pinging pellets at 30 meters and fishing a bomb with pellet or boilies has also been catching and a hybrid feeder with wafter is always worth a try. Decent nets of skimmers are being caught on the pole fished maggot over ground bait also fishing well.

LITTLE GEARYS The fishing got better this week with a change of air pressure seeing the F1s feeding really well at the weekend with nets to around 120lb caught. Pole fished pellet or maggot has been working best either fished short at five meters or down the margin. Pellet or method feeder fished to the island also catching plenty of fish at the moment.

GRATUITIES Carp to 10lb are coming to pole fished corn or dead maggots fished over micro pellets down the margins and out at 10 – 16 meters. There are plenty of silver fish being caught on maggot or caster with bream, roach, perch, crucians and tench all showing well this week.

ANNIVERSARIES Nets to around 40lb caught mainly F1s but a few decent carp mixed along with ide and skimmers. Long pole with pellet or maggot working best.

SIBLINGS A Not as prolific as last week but sport has been had around most of the pool. Pegs 2 – 5 and 17 – 22 have been the hotspots with carp, F1s, ide and skimmers coming to banded hard pellet either fished across to the island or at five meters.

SIBLINGS B Pleasure anglers are reporting nets to around 70lb mainly F1s but a few bigger carp, ide, skimmers and tench also being caught. Pole fished pellet/maggot or caster all working and on the wider pegs a small pellet feeder is worth a try.

WILLOW In good form with plenty of fish being caught down the margins later in the day. Carp and F1s to 5lb are being caught on corn, maggot or pellet in nets to around 70lb. Waggler with corn or pellet to the island is also producing plenty of fish.
