MOLANDS Molands has been in really good form this week with the F1s on the feed with carp, skimmers and tench all featuring in catches. The F1s have been coming to pole fished hard pellet, fishing a 6mm pellet on the hook or fishing down the margins with maggot. Carp to 15lb have come to the method or pellet feeder fished to the island. Best pegs have been 1 – 4, 13, 15, 21 – 30, 42 – 45 and 56 – 60.

GEARYS Starting to switch on with plenty of carp from 3 – 8lb coming out to method feeder, fished out to the middle stumps or down the margins on banded hard pellet. The bigger carp are coming to boilies or big wafters fished with a PVA bag and fish to 20lb have been caught on this method. There are lots of skimmers and roach to be caught on maggot or caster on the pole.

LITTLE GEARYS Another pool in good form with nets to 100lb reported last week, mainly F1s but carp also starting to show in numbers as well. Long pole with maggot or pellet fished on the deck or shallow, down the margins with maggot or meat and pellet/method feeder to the island have all accounted for big nets this week. Best pegs have been 6 – 13, 21 and 26 – 30.

GRATUITIES Bomb or waggler with pellet fished out to the island has been catching carp from 2 – 10lb with the far bank pegs the best area. The silver fish are still coming to maggot or caster fished over ground bait and also some quality roach and skimmers showing to this tactic.

ANNIVERSARIES A load of the new ‘stockies’ are showing around the island on pegs 6 – 14 with maggot or pellet on the pole catching well. The bigger F1s and carp are being caught on waggler with 6mm pellet in the open water on pegs 16, 17, 19 and 21 – 23.

WILLOW In terrific form with lots of F1s being caught on waggler and pellet or pole fished maggot or pellet at 13 metres. Paste has even started to work well on Willow with carp and F1s coming to this tactic, fishing down the margins or just down the first shelf.

SIBLINGS A There have been some good nets of carp and F1s caught this week with pegs
1 – 5, 9, 15 and 17 – 20 fishing well. Banded hard pellet fished across to the far bank or down the middle has been the top tactic but corn or maggot is also worth a try.

SIBLINGS B Fishing maggots down the middle has been the top tactic with F1s to 4lb coming to this and nets estimated at 100lb+ have been caught. Dobbing pellets or corn across to the far side has been picking up carp to 10lb around the end of the point on pegs 5 – 9.

FROM MARCH 1st TICKET PRICES WILL BE £10 FOR A FULL DAY TICKET AND
£8.00 FOR A CONCESSIONARY TICKET.
