The Pentax NFA Division One National takes place on Saturday 6th September on the River Huntspill and Kings Sedgemoor Drain in Somerset, where 630 anglers will take to the bank to compete for the title of National Champion and the opportunity to fish in the World Club Championship, 2009.
 
At this year’s National there will be 63 teams made up of 630 of the finest anglers that this country has to offer. Participants include triple World Champion Matt Godfrey and Under 22 World Champion Callum Dicks who will be hoping to add to their success from earlier this year. The internationals don’t stop there as The Subfish Team England Ladies will have a strong contingent including England Manager Tommy Pickering and new World Champion, Emma Pickering also taking part.

The draw takes place at 8.00am at Bridgwater Sports & Social Club, Bath Road, Bridgwater, Somerset. From here the competitors will head for their sections and fishing will take place between 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.
