Midlands based tackle manufacturer Preston Innovations is backing a new scheme to get more young people into fishing.

The ‘I Fishing’ campaign will see starter kits introduced into the marketplace to drive newcomers to an online Korum Club giving advice on venues and techniques. It’s also supported by a new television series on Sky Sports fronted by Nigel Botherway.
Preston Innovations managing director Sarah Phoenix said: “It will tackle the problem that the average age of angler in the UK is between 45 and 50 and will bring younger people in. We really need to increase the number of people going fishing. We want to promote fishing as a lifestyle choice – a recreational family activity.” For more information go to www.club-korum.co.uk .
