Neil made the most of an un-drawn peg below him fishing pole and paste into it he had a carp of 8lb on his 1st put in and then had to wait an hour for his next bite; he then put 19 more carp in his nets to weigh a total of 93lb 10oz. His pairs partner was 2nd fishing a small ground bait feeder and corn cast tight to the island, he caught carp – 4lb steady all day and finished with a total of 60lb 3oz

Dave Fished a small pellet feeder cast to the island with corn on the hook, catching 10 carp – 3lb before a switch the his margin swim late in the match having 15 more to the same size. Mick Fished pole and pellet out at 13m for 18 carp – 6lb most of which were late in the match when the sun went down.

No.1 fishery bailiff John Wooff made it to the no.1 spot at the end of the match, fishing pole maggot and corn in the margin because of the wind he was the only angler to have carp in his mixed net of skimmers, rudd, tench and roach, having 6 carp – 3lb in his net and a bonus ghostie that went just over 9lb pushed him in front of 2nd place Geoff Storer by 15lb for a total of 54lb 4oz. Geoff had a nice net of skimmers and bream – 3lb caught on pole and caster fished down the margin at peg 53 for 39lb 3oz.
