Gale force winds again made it near impossible to present a bait on the Maunside and it was still hard on the usually sheltered Cavendish Lake. In first place Neil fished pole and pellet into the corner on peg one on the Cavendish for 13 carp – 8lb, having just 2 gudgeon in the net in the 1st hour he added 5 skimmers – 1lb in the next hour before the carp moved in. Best on the Maunside and in 2nd place John on the end peg with peg 1 not drawn, he fished worm on the pole at 9m and when the wind allowed at 12m across, he had a mixed net of carp – 3lb and chub – 1lb
