The carp did put in an appearance this week but only for the winner Rob, he fished pole and pellet out at 13m for 30lb of skimmers – 1lb having a bite every put in and in the last hour he had 4 bonus carp – 4lb. In 2nd John Holmes also fished pole and pellet for skimmers having most of his fish in the first three hours of the match struggling for the last two, this turned out to be one of the best matches on this lake so far with only 2 anglers weighing in less than 10lb
