The cold weather still having an effect on this shallow lake but when it comes to fishing for silver fish its hard to beat Lee Payling on his current form, he fished his usual pole and caster just off the bottom feeding little and often for a mixed net of roach perch and gudgeon. In 2nd place Matt fished the pole and caster but struggled for bites, a changed to the waggler cast to the middle brought instant success ending just sort with another mixed net of roach, perch and a few small skimmers.

Pete won 2 weeks ago and drew out his peg for the £100 golden peg he did the same this week. He fished pole at 11m with pellet and maggot on the hook he had 6 carp – 7lb a skimmer and a couple of roach all caught in the first 3 hours before the east wind got up and the temperature dropped. 2nd place Jason fished the bore hole peg with pole corn and maggot ending with 5 small carp and 1 roach, but lost 15 others
