A miserable damp and rainy day, two nets of over 100lb and a new match record in the process Pete got to his peg to find a big shoal of carp just below the surface, so he set up the pole and free lined a dog biscuit his first and second put outs produced his  2 biggest carp both going just over 10lb, five hours later he had put 40 more in the net his 2nd win of the weeken and the match record under his belt, he fed just half a pint of floating pellets and a handful of dog biscuits to keep the fish interested all day. 2nd place went to ex Trentmen star Steve Clark draw on the bore hole he fished the pole out at 11m and down the side with pellet corn and meat he landed 25 carp – 8lb. 3rd place was a long way behind but it was very close after that with 35lb being 10th.

Kev drew peg 33 not a noted peg but he turned it into a flyer, using all his Trentmen knowledge he fished pole and luncheon meat down the margin and out at 13m, he loose fed pellets and a few pieces of meat when the bites slowed down, ending the match with 30 carp – 8lb and a grand total of exactly 100lb. Andy Allen had a poor first half of the match having only 3 carp in the net, fishing pole and paste the last 2 hours saw his peg come alive, having a bite every put out, he would have beat Kev but he lost 7 big carp at the net but managed to land 15 – 7lb. This again was a very good match through-out 33lb 3oz only got you 12th place.

Malc won his first open match at this fishery in impressive style, with the wind blowing hard making presentation very difficult he fished pole, caster and pellet at 9m, having 7 carp on pellet his swim dried up so a change to double caster and 4 more carp – 7lb made him a total of 52lb 7oz and the clear winner. In 2nd place Jason struggled to reach the fish on peg 26 he had to fish at 9m because of the wind, fishing pole and meat he had 13 carp – 5lb
