Mosella fishing tackle is a big name in angling across Europe, especially in the match fishing market where the company has produced a string of innovative products in recent years that have developed almost cult status in competitive circles.

The only problem for some anglers has been getting hold of some of the product range, but now UK anglers can browse and order online thanks to a new online tackle shop dedicated to the Mosella fishing tackle range – .

The modern, easy to use online Mosella shop is all thanks to Barnsley fishery owner and match angler Dave Taylor, who used to work in Dick Clegg’s tackle shop in the town. And with free postage currently offered, it’s already proving to be popular.

“It became obvious from the top match angling forums like that anglers have had trouble getting hold of some o f the Mosella range in the UK. This isn’t really about making a profit for me, it’s about giving a service to fellow anglers,” explained Dave, who also owns Westwoodside Coarse Fishery in Lincolnshire.

“The difference with is that I’m stocking the whole range, regardless of demand. If it says it’s on stock in screen, it’s almost certainly in stock. Usually if you order before 10am in the week it will go out the same day.”

Product ranges are clearly broken down into categories – ‘Baits And Accessories’, ‘Clothing’, ‘Holdalls’, ‘Keepnets’, ‘Landing Nets’, ‘Luggage’ and ‘Seatboxes’, with top selling items highlighted on the home page.

The ‘Baits And Accessories’ section includes the previously tough to get hold of Mosella Groundbaits and leam ranges, plus items like the highly popular Mosella Bait Bander and Mosella Magic Bread.

“The luggage is highly thought of and is selling well, as are the ‘J’ range pole floats and Mosella expander pellets, plus some of the groundbait,” added Dave. “And of course the Mosella clothing is popular. I’m getting interest from all over the world – France, Latvia, even Australia! I guess that’s the beauty of the Internet.”
