Weekly Report ending 18th July 2010
White maggot, corn, pellet and paste are the “in” baits this week, with 100lb being caught by pleasure anglers and match anglers. The fish have been up in the water on warm days.
Top Pool
Pellet and paste at 6m for f1 carp and common carp. White maggot for silverfish.
Bottom Pool
Corn in the margins for double figured carp. Paste and pellet for f1 carp and silverfish.
House Pool
White maggot with a feeder hard to the island for big carp. White maggot at 6m for f1 carp and silverfish.
House 2/Extension Pool
Lots of fish in the margins on the low numbered pegs to corn. F1 carp on the islands and at 9m with silverfish to white maggot.
New Pool
Paste has been best on all pegs with 100lb bags capable of all pegs fished up/down in the water.
Canal Pool
White maggot dominates this pool for f1 & f2 carp, bream, tench, roach, perch, barbel, rudd and golden rudd.
Club Pool
Corn in the margins for common carp and bream. Pellet at 6m for f1 & f2 carp, silvers and barbel.
