Finishing second well behind the winner was Dave Farr. Dave also fished shallow but with meat and later switched to corn over groundbait in the margins for 14 carp to 8lb

Flat calm and bright sunny conditions put pay to any large weights for this match on moat pool. Steve Robbins drew end peg 73 and caught 14 carp fishing into the margins using corn and pellet over groundbait

Martin fished short pole with worms, maggots and casters for 8 carp and some silvers for second place

Dave Whiting continued his good form this week with this veterans victory. Dave fished maggots and worms over groundbait to the marginal reeds for 15 carp to 9lb

Joe Simms was best weight off croft with 50lb. Joe caught an impressive silverfish net of tench, skimmer and roach fishing 4mm expander over micro feed

Arnie also used pellet to good effect, fishing at 10m and 5m for 6 carp and a few skimmers

The fishing has still been tricky after the carp and bream have spawned recently, however there were some reasonable catches. Stuart Gray won fishing catmeat over pellet into the margins. Stuart caught carp to 12lb

Gavin fished meat on long pole and into the margins with worms and maggots for 10 carp and a few skimmers

Shane used meat on short pole for carp to double figures

Steve Clark got the verdict in this saturday open on bridge pool. Fishing peg 7 on Bridge Island Steve fished meat on long pole for 7 carp and later switched to the margins with worm and maggot for a further 7 carp.

Daz Oldham was just one fish short with 107lb. Daz alternated pellet and paste on short pole and long pole for 14 carp and a few skimmers

Pete fished pellet cone with meat and corn as hookbait for carp to 9lb

Pete Miles blitzed this weekend with a ton plus weight. Pete fished 4mm expander pellet over micro feed short and across to the far bank for 100 carp to 3lb

Rob Austin came second from canal 10. Rob fished worm and caster to the far bank for 80 carp to 3lb
3 S Sheperd, Worksop, Peg Outer 6; 80-0-0
Steve fished mainly corn over groundbait for 18 carp well into double figures
