The National Teams and Competition Group of the Angling Trust are delighted to announce the International Sea Angling Teams for the World Angling Games in 2019.

The World Angling Games will be taking place in Langebaan, Western Cape Province, South Africa from 8th – 15th February.

The squads that have been selected at the present time are;

2nd FIPS-M World Championship for Shore Pairs as below;
Toby Oldfield/Tom Bagnall
Dene Conway/Russell Taylor
Stuart Withyman/James Madsen
Tom Bagnall (manager)

3rd FIPS-M World Championship for Shore Angling Masters (over 55) as below;
David John Andrews, Bernard Westgarth, Jurgen Schedler, Keith Mills, Roger Cunnington and Richard Hipperson (manager/reserve).

27th FIPS-M Shore Angling World Championship for Ladies as below;
Heather Lindfield, Adele Smith, Kimberley Lawn, Becky Woods, Loraine Perry, Laura McConnell (reserve) and Mark Hurcombe (manager).

36th FIPS-M Shore Angling World Championship for Men as below;
Saul Page, Richard Yates, Darren Newland, Ian Dancey, Bill Lindfield and Malcolm Stote (manager/reserve).

The Angling Trust would like to wish all the England Teams the very best of luck when competing in the World Angling Games in 2019.

The Angling Trust are also seeking applications from anyone interested in applying for other 2019 FIPS-M World Championships and SALC Home Internationals. The closing date for any World Championships for 2019 teams who have not yet been selected and for all SALC Home Internationals is 15th November 2018. Please note; Anyone applying for Team England must have individual membership of the Angling Trust.
