Sailing Lake:
Some excellent Bream Sport this week with fish to 7lb figuring in mixed bags. Harry Lewis of Leicester took 6 Bream to 7lb, Hybrids, Roach to over 1lb and Tench to 4lb for a total catch of 48lb, Harry alternated between pole and feeder with maggot and caster outscoring other baits on the day.

Alan Kenwood of Nuneaton landed some cracking Bream and Tench for a total bag of 46lb, again groundbait feeder and caster was the winning tactic.
Summer predator sport has been good to, fishery manager Chay Jackson spent a few hours on the lure for 4 Pike to 14lb and a bonus 9lb 6oz Zander.
Boys Pit:
The fishing on the Boys pit has been fantastic with some cracking Roach and Rudd being taken from recently cleared and re-opened swims, fishing waggler in clear spots amongst the weed has accounted for lots of Tench to 7lb, Rudd to 1lb 14oz and 8 different Roach over 1lb! with the biggest being just an ounce short of 2lb. Lindsey Jackson of Nuneaton to 3 cracking Rudd over 1lb a 1lb 12oz Roach and 7 Tench to 5lb as well as some good Perch for a total bag of 51lb, Lindsey fished the pole at 11m next to a weed bed, maggot and corn being the bait.
Cole Adamson of Melton Mowbray also got amongst the Roach with 2 over the 1lb mark (1lb 8oz and 1lb 12oz) Tench to 7lb and a bonus Carp of 12lb, worm fished in conjunction with waggler being the winning tactic.
Fishery:
We are slowly but surely battling our way through 15 years of bramble and opening new swims that give access to some fabulous Lillie strewn bays only accessible by boat in the past.
We have now got male and female toilets and the fishery office is now open, we are adjacent to the sailing club.
