14 pegs 1st T Furby, Notts AA, 64-6-0; Isl 3 Trevor Furby chose to fish shallow with casters today and caught mainly carp on the pole at 10m to win today’s veterans match.
2nd C Line, Retford, 56-13-0; peg Isl 1
Chris Line finished second with a net of carp caught using Pellet waggler at 16m with punched meat and banded pellet as baits.
3rd R Brooks, MAP Leegem, 39-10-0; Isl 13 Ron Brooks took third place with a nice mixed net of carp and skimmers all caught using expander pellet at 7m on the pole.
4th I Temple, Retford, 32-8-0;  5th I Donaldson, Bolderton, 31-8-0.

Tuesday 16th April, Daiwa Hallcroft Open Match Moat Pool

19 pegs 1st Rich Teigh, Handsworth, 69-14-0; Isl 41 Rich Teigh fished 13m on the pole using 6mm expander pellet over potted in 4mm feed pellets to catch mainly carp plus the odd skimmer bream to edge victory in today’s match.
2nd Steve Rothery, Daylite Baits, 68-8-0; Isl 45 Steve Rothery fished on cubed luncheon meat on a 12m pole line, loose feeding meat over the top to net carp and skimmers for second place.
3rd Shaun Parker, Hallcroft, 64-8-0; Isl 69 Shaun Parker opted to fish a pellet cone with hairrigged corn as hook bait and caught all carp for third spot.
4th Lee Hewison, MAP Leegem, 56-6-0;

Thursday 18th April, Daiwa Hallcroft Veterans Match Moat Pool

38 pegs 1st M Hazlewood, MAP Leegem, 46-14-0; peg Isl 56 With the big carp still not awakened from their winter hibernation, today’s match proved a tough affair, especially in the strong winds which hampered all pole fishing.  Mark Hazlewood stuck with a groundbait feeder and alternated corn and banded pellet as baits to catch enough carp for the win.
2nd R Turner, Retford, 30-10-0; peg Out 25 Reg Turner also caught carp but took some on feeder and some on short pole with luncheon meat to edge second place.
3rd B Sullivan, MAP Leegem, 28-8-0; Out 41 Brian Sullivan finished in third spot with carp and bream taken on a pellet cone to the middle of Moat.
4th A Berisford, MAP Leegem, 24-0-0;
5th G Hiley, Mansfield, 22-10-0

25 pegs 1st D Dare, Marukyu, 64-0-0; peg Out 102 Dave Dare edged a close victory with a net of carp caught mainly from the margins using maggot and corn over groundbait. Dave picked up the majority of his fish in the last 2 hours of the match.
2nd M Malia, Wickersley, 62-10-0; peg Isl 23 Matt Malia fished  6mm expander pellet on the pole at 11m over loose fed 4mm pellets and netted carp and skimmers for second place.
3rd N Wood, MAP Leegem, 54-0-0; peg Isl 34 Nigel Wood fished short pole with maggots over groundbait to catch his third place mixed net of carp and silvers.

Saturday 20th April, Daiwa Hallcroft Open Match Moat Pool

26 pegs 1st G Gibson, Worksop, 55-4-0, peg Out 11  Moat Pool continues to remain a couple of weeks behind the smaller lakes at Hallcroft as the carp prove illusive once again.  Gordon Gibson made the most of a favourable wind as he netted all carp using bomb and feeder tactics to the middle of the lake.
2nd Tony Bennett, Bentley, 44-1-0; peg Out 6 Tony Bennett finished second today with carp caught using banded pellet on a feeder and some late on from the margins with groundbait and corn.
Tied 3rd A Lakey, Worksop AS and G Boddice, Worksop AS, 23-12-0; Out 56 & 48 Third place was tied with both anglers were in the same section and  netted all silverfish using pole with maggot and groundbait.

Sunday 21st April, MAP Leegem Spring League Round 7 Moat Pool

60 pegs 1st B Holmes, Matrix Trentmen, 151-15-0; peg Out 18 Ben Holmes blitzed the field today with a magnificent net of carp which included a 12lbs Ghostie. Ben fished shallow on the pole at 13m using 6mm pellet and 6mm cubed luncheon meat.
2nd B Sullivan, MAP Leegem, 80-9-0; peg Isl 11 Brian Sullivan took second place alternating between the margins with corn and 12m shallow with pellets to catch carp and bream.
3rd N Vernon, Gainsborough, 73-12-0; peg Isl 2 Ever popular Neil Vernon fished corn over 4mm feed pellets on a short pole line to catch Bream and Carp in his third place net.

18 pegs 1st A Lakey, Worksop AS, 89-12-0; peg Out 17 Andy Lakey was today’s winner in A close match on Bridge Pool. Andy netted carp and skimmers using expander pellet on the pole at 11m.
2nd I Temple, Retford, 84-0-0; peg Isl 5 Ian Temple took second spot with a nice net of carp too 8lbs caught on long pole with pellet over micros.
3rd G Leversidge, Marukyu, 82-2-0; peg Isl 9 Gavin Leversidge finished third with a nice mixed net of carp and silvers caught at 13m with meat and pellets.
4th J Broughton, Mosborough, 75-8-0;  
5th C Greenside, Mosborough, 63-12-0.
