The latest issue of Game Fisher’s Diary is a chance to escape from the Arctic weather as we take you to fly fishing destinations on four continents….

Rae Borras travels to Iceland and the Breiddalsa river, where he can’t work out whether the elves that everyone seems to believe in, or the salmon are the hardest to catch.

Peter Morse is in Tasmania with the Fishing Downunder crew, where he lands one of the biggest brown trout to be taken on fly in Australia since the heydays of Lake Pedder.

We also head deep into the Amazon jungle with Steve Townson in Creatures of the Black Lagoon where the main two target species are the Borboleta or ‘butterfly’ peacock bass, and the larger and stunning looking three-striped peacock, which can grow to nearly 30lb.

And Bob Roberts heads up the awesome Zambezi River to the Matoya Fishing Lodge on Zambia’s marvellous Barotse Floodplain in search of tiger fish.

There’s also marvellous footage from Russia’s Kola Peninsula in Home For Salmon, as we watch salmon taking dry flies on the incredible Kharlovka river, action from the Mississippi River and breathtaking flat fishing in Florida in Soul Fish.

That’s just some of the great video content in the Feb/March issue which also includes contributions from the likes of Karl Humphries, Tim-Gaunt Baker, Robin Winram, Steve Townson and Nick Hart.
