Best Bream was caught by Jake King on peg 10 at 1lb 12oz. Pinkie over Groundbait

Conditions: Sunny, Very, Very Windy.. 15 fished.

The winner this week was venue regular Dave West, who fished peg25 going  out 13m using pellet over pellet and weighing in 18lb 8oz of carp and a few silvers.

Second place went to Steve (the bridesmaid) Wilson who found himself just out of  the top spot with 16lb 15oz of carp caught on the pole and tip.

On the opposite bank  was  Jake King who drew end peg10, fishing between his margin and 13m line Jake put together a 16lb ½oz weight for third place and also picked up the Bream Pool with a 1lb 12oz specimen.

Rich Wills found peg13 so windy that he was forced to go on the tip and eventually found 12lb 6½oz of fish on his 20m line.  A  gentle underarm chuck was all that was needed apparently. (Ed. Some would say it was due to years of polelitis)

Everybody struggled to contend with the strong undertow, caused by the constant strong east wind that rarely abated all day, making presentation difficult to say the least. Luckily no poles were broken but some came close.
