Greys and Chub Media Manager Ed Betteridge has been putting the new Greys AirCurve rods we reported on last month to good effect recently by banking four carp over 30lb in the space of 36 hours.

Despite a 360-mile round trip from his Derby home, Ed has been targeting a low-stock, 55 acre gravel pit near the south coast and almost as soon as the temperatures picked up, got his reward after baiting an area at 150 yards range and fishing Mainline hook baits.
His first run in the early hours produced a fish known as ‘The Camel’ at 38lb, and after baiting again he landed fish of 32lb, 36lb and the biggest at 39lb.
