The River Severn at Bewdley hosted the thirteenth round of RiverFest 2019 and although the river was a little low and clear, there were still some good weights of silverfish to be had.

Geoff Brierly took top spot on the day from peg 72F in B zone with 22lb 12oz. This mainly consisted of perch to 3lb on the whip and stick float, with maggots and worms.

Qualifying from A zone peg 25 was Dave Hollands, who set his stool out early doors for dace. Four Hundred and Forty fish later Dave had amassed 15lb 7oz and qualified for the final.

The final man to qualify from peg 109 in C section, was Joe Holloway. Joe caught skimmers and perch on a groundbait feeder for 14lb 7oz.
