The final of the World Series event being run by online fishing club Total-FishingClub.com that will see someone win a trip to the 2010 World Champs has been booked for the Glebe Fishery in October.
Qualifiers from a series of heats at some of the UK’s top commercial fisheries will fish off at the Leicestershire venue’s Lake One in a winner-takes-all final on Saturday October 10th.
Two of the qualifiers have already been fished at Cudmore Fishery and Lindholme Lakes, but there are three more at Barston Lakes, Gold Valley and Makins Fishery coming up through the summer.

All you have to do is win your five-peg section to qualify – and you will also special World Series medal for your troubles with the winner of each round also winning a trophy.
Glebe fishery manager Roy Marlow said: “Lake One is very fair and with around 20 qualifiers expected we can leave out the corners and really even things up. It’s not all about carp either and with so many silver fish like chub and skimmers and the uncertain October weather factor, who knows what method will win it?”
