After six hard-fault rounds at Willinghurst Fishery Surrey, Guildford Angling Centre Black were crowned 2014 Masters winners with an impressive 8pt score, taking their £500 cheque and Masters Trophy.

The local team produced an impressive team effort, winning three of the six rounds and coming second in another.

The lads knew that the fishing was going to be hard so they decided to single out the silver fish in the early rounds then switch to the carp later on in the series, this knowledge paid dividend especially as the fishing was harder than expected.

The tackl shop backed team have already put their names forward to defend their tittle in 2015.

Second spot went to The Rats who narrowly beat England international’s Stevie Gardener’s ‘G-Squad’ team. They both ended on 16 points The Rats sneaked in to the runner’s up place on count back.
